V.O.P Orphanages

Voice Of Peace Orphanages (VOPO) is a community-based orphan care program supporting over 6,000 children through a network of six centers in Zimbabwe. VOPO covers all aspects of the children’s welfare including healthcare through our outreach clinic, formal & informal education, food production, and food security.

The program is run by a very small staff with over 400 local volunteers, and the funds are raised by a small but resourceful volunteer committee in Zimbabwe. VOP provides direct aid and reaches out to many thousands of orphaned and vulnerable children, but they do not have a regular source of funding, so personal donations are both valued and appreciated.

Church Planting

Pastor Tatenda has planted 585 churches throughout Zimbabwe, 7 throughout Mozambique and 5 throughout South Africa by bringing the Gospel to rural bush areas and supporting local pastors.

HIV/AIDS Support Groups

1.4 million adults in Zimbabwe live with HIV today. Eternal Word Ministries runs 100 HIV/AIDS support groups throughout the nation, providing a community of God's love and hope to the sick.

Medical Facilities

Eternal Word Ministries runs one medical facilities and three mobile clinics, which treat hundreds of patients that wouldn't have access to healthcare otherwise. They depend on visiting medical staff and donations to keep their doors open.

Adult Education

Eternal Word Ministries actively ministers to adults in need through various ways including a counseling center, prison ministry and university campus ministries.

Sports

EWM's sports ministry hosts annual tournaments for hundreds of children and adults to enjoy. Soccer is widely popular in Zimbabwe and a soccer ball is all it takes to bring a community together in friendly competition.
